This good looking tool extracts street and place names from news reports and shows us how a city is being reported. Echoes of a range of many mood mapping things, some of which are covered here by Charlie Pinder, and also seems to be have a more local feel than other news mapping tools. Jon Bounds extends this idea into what is known as psychogeography.

This looks brilliant, but it’s (from my brief investigations) little more than a feed aggregator on a map — the feed contents aren’t analysed, only categorised by whoever adds then. A nice toy tho’.
