2nd Lozells Social Media Surgery – Thursday 20th August
After the first social media surgery in Lozells we’re really pleased to be able to do another one on Thursday 20th August 2009.
Once again Raj Rattu will be kindly hosting this free chance for anyone involved in voluntary and community organisations around Lozells to learn about how blogging, Facebook, Twitter or other parts of what’s known as social media could help them.
The surgeries are part of the BeVocal initiative to encourage people to use social media to become active in their local areas.
Simply drop in on Thursday 20th August between 5.30 and 7.00pm to the Methodist Church on Lozells Street (163 Gerrard Street, Lozells, Birmingham, B19 2AH) and a ’surgeon’ — somebody with experience in using social media — will show you the basics and help you understand how social media can benefit your organisation and Lozells as a whole.
To get there: Lozells St. is just off the Lozells Road and is on the corner with Gerrard Street. Click on this link for the exact location on Google Maps.
If you know you’re coming please put your details into the form below. Otherwise just drop in on Thursday evening.
